500 like giveaway!

I think we can reach 500 likes on the Images By Amanda Facebook page by April 8th and if we can then I am going to be drawing a random number and choosing someone to win a FREE photo session with a 16×20 boutique framed print of their choice (frame alone valued at $250!). If we go past 500 and can make it to 800, I’m going to add 10 high resolution digital images to the prize.

The session will take place in either the Fort McMurray or Edmonton area and is valid until December 31st 2012.

There are 3 ways to enter by commenting on this blog post:

Join the Images By Amanda page on Facebook and leave a comment here on the blog letting me know you did or already have! www.facebook.com/imagesbyamanda
Spread the word on Facebook and let me know how you did it! If we don’t make it to 500 there will be no draw so let’s do this
Tell me how you will use the free session! Family, couple, newborn? spring, summer, fall, winter?

You get 3 separate entries, might as well take advantage!! Post them all now or come back later and post again. All comments need to be made on the blog and not on the Facebook page or they will not count towards the free session. I will be randomly selecting a number via random.org and the person who commented in that spot wins!! It’s THAT easy!

You will be given 1 entry for each item to a maximum of 3 entries per person. Please ensure you comment 1 time for each and do not put all 3 into 1.

I would definitely use the session for a family shoot. We really have nothing that has all 4 people (and dog) looking at the camera with a normal face. One is usually off in space while another looks goofy. The dog will cooperate as long as someone says treat or has a squeaky toy. Hard to do that when taking a self timed photo though…..

Hey Amanda !
My boyfriend and I are hardcore Oilers fans and our son, now 6 months old, will be one as well haha! What I would do with the free photo session is dress us all up in our Oilers jerseys and take pics at Mac Island skating rink or just around town.

That or I would love to find a mud pit with my boyfriend and just have fun and let you take pictures of us fooling around and just having a good time.

If I won the free session we have a few things to celebrate in the months to come. Our youngest son is starting to walk more frequently and that would be neat to capture in pictures. Our oldest turns the big 10 in July and the youngest will be 2 in November. Lots of big things happening in the family:)

If I were to win the contest, I would used it for family photos as we got photos done when my son was two months old and only got one family photo that isn’t very good, and maybe three other decent ones of my son! It’d be a toss up. I’d either get a session for my family ( My hubby, me our 16 yr old boy, our almost 2yr old girl, and our youngest our 3 month old son.)

OR I’d get a personal session, hey I’ve spent the last two years pregnant. I never had a chance to lose the baby weight between my daughter and my son. Since he was born I’ve been working hard at losing it and have lost a lot. Everyone says I look good, and the numbers don’t lie but my self confidence doesn’t see the beautiful me anymore. I think maybe a session with you would help convince me!

What a great contest!
I’d love to get pictures taken of my two sons, that captures their silly personalities. They’re such characters.
We’ve never had pictures taken by a real photographer take any pictures. So I’d also love a family picture.
I’d also love to show the positive sides of Fort McMurray. I don’t think its deserves the reputation it has. Our family has recently relocated. We made the decision to move here because being all together is most important. That seems to be the theme with most families.

Changes

The Harbarenko Family | Edmonton Family Photographer

This family booked a session with me and coincidentally during the booking process I realized I actually used to work with the Dad. It was the littlest mans 1st Birthday and we wanted to do something special so I had an idea and it turned out so wonderful. He truly is the most gorgeous little man and totally reminds me of a baby you would see in a Gap advertisement. Their oldest son was so sweet and I think he actually enjoyed our adventures in the trees and playing in the leaves more then anything else. As a mother of 2 boys I definitely felt a connection with the love in their family and how special little boys can be to a mom who cherishes every minute and doesn’t want them to grow up too quickly. <3 I can't wait to work with you all again soon!

This is my brother, sister in law, niece, nephew and some of my sister in laws family. Got that!?Her family has some amazing property in the area and we were able to take a boat to it and shoot some gorgeous family photos. I’m so happy with the warmth of them and how they turned out… and of course lots of <3 here

Courtney emailed me wanting to have family/maternity photos done and I was so excited that we were able to book something right away. She was so sweet and there was so much love in this family. Shortly after receiving her photos she posted a thank you message on my facebook wall and it literally moved me to tears. There is no better gift in a world for a photographer then to know that you have captured the genuineness of who your client and their family really are. Thank you all so much for giving me the great honor of capturing this amazing time for you.

This family was so much fun. I love when I have clients and feel like we’ve been friends forever. We can talk ‘mom’ stuff and just have a great time. I loved the colors that they chose for their outfits and it was a gorgeous day.
